To provide resources to all men to be not only better men, but better fathers and better community leaders as they prepare to re-enter society

Our Purpose:

It Takes A Village is an ancient African proverb which teaches eternal truth. No man, no woman and no family is an island. With the current state of the world, this has more meaning than ever before because we need each other to make our children better. In days past, we would help each other because the village would come together to raise a child.

When one child in the community was in need, the entire community would come together to provide for that child. We knew our neighbors. They were extensions of our own homes. The family unit was paramount and an entity we valued, protected and promoted.

To return to a time where we all care about each other and a time where our communities are back to where they need to be, it's going to take a village TODAY. We, at IT TAKES A VILLAGE TODAY, are beginning this work at the Correctional Transitional Center which is one of the most critical opportunities for rebuilding in America.
